应用化学专业英语教程是为应用化学专业、轻化工程专业及化学化工其他专业的专业英语编写的一本教程。该课程主要是对学生进行应用化学、轻化工程等专业有关的英语知识的训练和培养,让其了解科技论文(英文)的基础知识、应用化学有关论文的写作、专业知识的英文词汇表达以及有关英文科技的阅读等方面的知识。
本教材共分14个单元,71课,涵盖了应用化学、轻化工程等专业诸方向的主要专业英语基础知识,各方向可根据需要选择重点学习。本教材也可供从事化学、化工、轻化工程等工作的科技工作者作为提高专业英语知识的参考书。
本书由南京工业大学的朱红军教授和盐城工学院的吕志敏教授主编,南京工业大学的汪海波、冯鸣、杨文总、李方实、万嵘、王国伟、郭成、张红漫等老师参加了编写工作。王锦堂教授、俞斌教授和姚成教授等对该书的编写提供了许多宝贵的意见,在此向他们表示衷心的感谢。
由于时间仓促,且应用化学涵盖的内容非常丰富,以及编者水平有限,书中难免存在不足之处,恳请读者批评指正。
