Statistical Treatment of Analytical Data provides a practical understanding of statistical treatment of data and how to apply it in actual day-to-day activities in the laboratory to improve the quality and reporting of analytical data. There are several statistical methods available for the interpretation of analytical chemical data that help to assess the quality of the analytical measurements and aid in the presentation and interpretation of the results. These methods are described in detail, with enough basic theory to allow the chemist to develop an understanding of the principles involved, but not so much that the theory obscures the essential practical points.
