Tricorona Carbon Asset Management (CAM 瑞典碳资产管理公司) procures Emission
Reductions from Joint Implementation and Clean Development Mechanism projects
and manages end-user compliance. CAM’s Beijing Representative Office handles
procurement of CERs and VERs from Chinese projects.
Through its subsidiary Tricorona Climate Partner, Tricorona also has activities
in climate neutralization, handling voluntary offset for a non-compliance
clientele.
Tricorona Carbon Asset Management (CAM) is looking for technical team members
to help it manage a large portfolio of CDM projects in China. The role, based
in our Beijing office, will require highly motivated and technically competent
individuals to implement projects in our large portfolio. An ability to
understand and document in both Chinese and English how energy and industrial
projects operate is essential; also is a strong commitment to team work.
The Role:
• Project Design Document (PDD) development for Clean Development
Mechanism (CDM) projects relating to the realisation of renewable energy and
energy efficiency projects in China.
• To maintain contact with other agencies and experts on renewable
energy/energy efficiency projects and related operational technical issues.
• Assistance to the validation and verification of CDM projects.
• Analysis and identification of the potential CDM project
opportunities.
• To report on the project pipeline and project status.
• To complete other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Key competencies:
• Academic background in an engineering (power, chemical, thermal,
environmental, etc) or financial/economic background.
• Preferably 1-2 years work experience in fields relevant to renewable
energy, energy efficiency, and/or CDM.
• Strong technical and analytical skills; ability to quickly
understand technical and financial concepts,
• Relevant teamwork experience and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
Other requirements:
• Be willing to travel
• Excellent computer skills
