Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher. This position will be for two years in the first instance with the School of Chemistry.
The research will focus on chemometric analysis of the crystalline and amorphous forms of pharmaceutical type compounds. A range of spectroscopic methods and X-ray powder diffraction will be used with the aim of developing rapid methods of analysis of solid forms. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. and will have experience in the use of chemometric methods of analysis. Candidates with experience in polymorph analysis are highly desirable.
The research will be carried out under the direction of Professor P. McArdle in collaboration with Dr. A.R. Ryder and Dr. A. Erxleben and forms part of the Solid State Pharmaceutical Cluster, a Science Foundation Ireland Strategic Research Cluster.
