Postdoctoral positions in lipidomics
Two postdoctoral positions are available in a new Competitive Research Program (Lipidomics, novel tools and applications). We propose to substantially advance research and development in lipidomics by providing novel tools for applications in biological and environmental sciences. Substantial investment in mass spectrometry (MS) has been made recently to support this project. We are looking for two experienced and highly motivated mass spectrometry specialist to contribute to development of novel analytical approaches.
Qualified applicants should have a PhD degree and strong backgrounds in analytical chemistry and/or biochemistry. Experience in mass spectrometry and/or lipid research is required. Experience in MALDI-based MS of small molecules or carbohydrate chemistry will be an extra value. The successful candidates are expected to integrate cross-disciplinary and translational approaches at the interface between academic, corporate and clinical research.
